Welcome to the San Bernardino County 2018/2019 Human Services (HS) Annual Report presented through this innovative website. The purpose of this report is to provide a summary of the quality of care and essential services available to community members through the various programs offered by the nine departments within HS.

In support of the Countywide Vision, HS works to build a healthy community by strengthening individuals and families, enhancing quality of life and valuing people. I am pleased to report HS departments and administrative support divisions had another strong year in terms of positive outcomes. Throughout this past year, they continued to improve and enhance the programs and services provided by their dedicated workforce. Their commitment to accessible and timely services is best reflected by the achievements noted throughout this report.

As a team, HS collaborates with community partners to provide a wide range of quality care addressing the changing and emerging needs of county residents. Moving forward, HS pledges to continue building upon vital partnerships to provide our community members the safety nets necessary to achieve and sustain a stable and healthy life for themselves and their families.
