A volunteer is one who gives, without compensation, of his time and talent in a volunteer service program designated and authorized by the Board of Supervisors.

Volunteers are dedicated individuals from all economic, educational and social backgrounds who help make it possible for staff to provide the best care possible for the people of San Bernardino County.

Students are encouraged to volunteer. A work permit from your school is required if you are under 18 years of age.
