OHS Organization Chart
The Office of Homeless Service (OHS) was created September 2007 by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. OHS strives to develop a countywide
public and private partnership that coordinate services directed towards reducing and preventing homelessness by providing comprehensive services and resources
for homeless persons, and increasing permanent supportive housing opportunities for very low income and long-term homeless persons in order to end homelessness
in San Bernardino County.
Purpose
To develop and implement a countywide 10 Year Plan through advocacy, policy review, technical assistance, priority setting, linkages and coordination, provision of financial
and other resources, and articulation of the vision of the San Bernardino County Homeless Partnership to end homelessness.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Homeless Services (OHS) is to end homelessness in the County of San Bernardino
through collaborative partnerships with Federal, State, and local governments, social service agencies, community
and faith-based organizations. OHS advocates for fair, progressive, and effective policies to improve the quality
of life for the homeless in the County of San Bernardino.
