Authorized IRS e-file Providers

In 2012, the Transitional Assistance Department will launch an expanded campaign to provide free tax preparation to taxpayers whose households earned less than $49,000 in 2011. This service aims to increase taxpayers’ access to the Earned Income Tax Credit, which provides a financial boost to families and the local economy. Our tax preparation sites are authorized IRS e-file providers. To learn more, click here.

Current Transitional Assistance Department Customers can get up to date case information 24 hours a day by using the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. This automated system provides customers up to date information about their case such as benefit amount, worker information, office location, and the ability to request forms to be mailed. C4 Yourself
C4Yourself® is an online application that allows you to apply for and recertify (renew) CalWORKs, CalFresh (Food Stamps) and Medi-Cal benefits. www.c4yourself.com This secure website will send your application directly to the county for processing.

The Preschool Services Department (PSD) administers the Federal Head Start and Early Head Start programs, California Department of Education State Preschool program, as well as the Child and Adult Care Food Program in 43 locations throughout the County of San Bernardino. All programs are fully funded from Federal and State sources with no local cost.

San Bernardino County - At Your Service Resident Guide

The "At Your Service" Resident Guide contains information covering county services as well as state, regional, city and other agencies resources often requested by residents. Critical service information is included as well as highlights of the many resources that make San Bernardino County a great place to live, work, play and call home.
