A Message from the Director

The San Bernardino County Department of Child Support Services is committed to serving the children and families of our county.

Financial and medical support are essential to a child’s success and well-being. Each day, we establish parentage, locate absent parents, establish and enforce orders for child and medical support, and collect payments.

You are welcome to visit any of our three offices—however, this site is designed to be your resource, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On this website, you can find many answers to your child support questions, and access many of the forms and services that you may need to process your case. If you cannot find what you are looking for, you can submit your question online, or call 1-866-901-3212 to obtain information or make an appointment. Your children are the future.   URGENT NOTICE: FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY TARGETING CHILD SUPPORT CUSTOMERS

DCSS has been notified of a “phishing scam” that targets individuals who have child support cases. you receive an automated telephone call claiming to be the California Department of Child Support Services (DCSS), do not provide your Social Security number or any other personal information.

We have also been notified of another “phishing scam” that targets individuals who receive their child support payments via Electronic Payment Cards (EPCs). If you receive a call from someone claiming to be with the State Disbursement Unit (SDU), do not provide any personal information.

To verify that any child support calls you receive are authentic, please call your Local Child Support Agency at 1-866-901-3212.
